Juuust testing out this typeface. After years of using Trebuchet, I think I'm now leaning towards using Courier for this blog. I don't know. You really don't have to read this, because I'm just writing to fill up some text space.

New look

Hello there! You may have seen the Shabby Blogs notice on the left this past week. Long story short, they switched servers, and I had to get the code for the background again. Which is when I noticed that my old yellow background had retired. They no longer have it. And hence it was time for a new look!! But, really, apart from a few colour changes, everything's the same :)

Hey. Notice the lack of posts? It's because I'm on holiday. In Sydney. Yep, totally not kidding. We decided I was going to Australia like, five hours before my flight was to take off. Can you imagine the rush of packing clothes, cancelling plans (with friends; I was to go to an island for voluntary tree-planting today), calling up people? Kind of insane, but fully awesome.

So I've been shopping (military and nautical are big styles here right now, as lace is in New Zealand), and generally doing all the touristy things. Going to see the Opera House on Monday, methinks. I should be back in New Zealand on the 14th.

Bye bye peoples, and I shall see you back on the 14th!

Photo A Day

Kunal and I are thinking of starting up our photo blog again ... not sure at this time if I'll be posting every day, as I have assessments from two courses to take care of ...

Firsts..

I'd written the first welcoming post here in October 2008. Then, after a gap, I really started writing in this blog. On April 22nd last year. It was my clips tutorial post, written for my best friend. I'd only started this blog for my bestie, to let her know what I'd been up to... but then - and I love this part! - others joined in, like Stephanie, Abby, Brajesh [who I would've never dreamed of reading this blog! He's all futbol and running around], Rachel, Sam, Robert, Silviana, Rashmi, Ruthie, Maia, Marinho, Kunal, DT, Akshay, Karishma, Quinn, Laxmy, Devil, Kitty Cheese, and last but definitely not the least, Jingle! Yay! Thanks all!! :D

And here's another first. My first-ever photograph taken in the flash-as studios we've got up at university:

Just a little note ...

Hey guys, you might've noticed, I'm back from holidaying and into the bloggle world again ... My first three weeks of university have been very busy, juggling assignments and all, but it finally seems as if I'm getting used to this new year of uni. I will be blogging again! I tried little posts to start with, and it felt so good, that I'm officially back :D

A Photo A Day

So that's the title of my new blog. There's going to be heaps of uploads but it's going to be quieter than The Graphic Bee. If you want, you can have a lookie here, but there's only one post up so far. I'll post later today, though. It's a new project, so let's see how it goes!

Hmmm.

Hmmm. So I saw someone labelled one of my posts as "bleh". It'd be cool if you commented a bit on what you found bleh. But, really, as you might've noticed, I'm changing the posts on my blog a bit, and making them a tad more personal. Kinda like a journal? Just posting on whatever I feel like, but interesting stuff, too.

I also got told that the background loads after you've finished reading the post - this is something that doesn't happen on my computer. So I see that kind of as a fail. If you want to read more fails, go here. That site also has lots of lolcats and random stuff.
