L'Occitane's lemon body cream. It smells delish, it looks delish, but ... it's a little on the expensive side of things.
Actually, make that everything L'Occitane. Everything pretty wrapped in everything pretty.

Robin's Eggs
Hermes link
I'm sorry I forgot to put the link to the Hermes Corporate website in my earlier post. So, here it is!
Have fun putting the bag together! And don't forget to show me how it turns up! :D

Printed!
Yay, finally printed that birthday set for that best friend! The colours turned out to be a little bit different than what they looked on the screen, but that's all good. The white looks good with this pink as well, so that made me happy. And there were no paper jams. However, the matt I used was quite glossy, I needed it to be a little more matt-y. Since that was the only paper they had, and since I was rushing anyways, I used it ... but it still looks good.
Okay, I shall stop rambling about it now.

Hermes, anyone?
Has anyone tried to print out the Hermes Kelly bag? And actually make it work? I mean, I understand it's paper, and it won't possibly hold any of the stuff we girls usually dump in our handbags, but I think of it for putting gifts in - print it off at any size you want, put it together, stuff your gift and some tissue in [maybe some confetti?], and give it away! Also good for party favours. Your guests will leave thinking about how sophisticated you are. Awesome!
A new project!
Wow, I have my first ever follower! Thanks, Kunal!
My best friend living in another country is going to celebrate her nineteenth soon, and since I can't go there myself, my natural instinct was to buy her a card and a gift. But then I decided to go personal, and design the card myself. That didn't feel enough, so I went ahead and designed her an envelope for the card, some letterheads, personalised labels [for books, etc.], and calling cards/business cards. They are dark pink and white, two of my most favourite colours.
Since I haven't printed them out yet, I shall post them here probably next week ...
Till then, my friends, all I have to say, is this: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!
And finally: Toodles!

A matter of clips ...
So, I recently got a haircut and decided to look for funky but decent hairpins to go with it. I saw only one pair that I liked, and that was $2 per clip. All it had on it was metal roses! So I decided to make some pins of my own. It turned out to be really easy, it wasn't expensive, I had lots of fun doing it, you can also do it with your friends/kids as a holiday project, the pins can be a really good birthday gift ... and most of all, I had the satisfaction that I made them myself.
1. I bought some ribbon from the local artstore with bobble-like things on them. 50c per half meter, each containing about 30 to 50 bobbles, so that makes that many clips!
This luckily goes with one of my shirts!
2. Then I cut the individual bobbles out ...
3. This is my buddy, super glue. Even though it wasn't that nice when I got it on my fingers! :D
4. Woohoo! Cute clips!
