A dose of funnae.

Though there is no way that I have Pneumonia, I just found this poster interesting, for it strikes to me like a man-eating shark. Ha ha ha ha ... cough cough ... ha ha ha!!

Sickle Wickle

Ohhhh. I is really sickle wickle, and I is not liking it at all :'( . Sneezes are interrupting almost everything I do. I start coughety-coughing whenever I -- ah-choo!!! ah-choo!!! *teary eyes* -- start laughing. The nose is red, and my head hurts. Ugh. Go away, you horrible cold+cough.

I am so very sorry if I -- ahh- ahhh- ah-choo!!! ah-choooo!!! -- violated anybody's copyright by using this image, and please let me know if you would like me to take if off. I got it from  Google Images. Thanks!

Quiz 3!

Okay, not really a quiz, but a guessing game, more like :)

NB: This quiz is NOT applicable to Kunal, Aparna, Rashmi, and Laxmoii!! [because you guys have seen me a million times! Duh!]

This might be the easiest quiz ever.

Oooo, so, which one of these is me? [Sorry about the blur! I swear it's not so in the original picture ... ]

p.s.: If you click on the pic, it opens in a new window, and it's not blurry anymore! Yaay!

It's Spring!

Sure is spring when the air smells sweet while trudging back home from university ... [or is it just because uni's over for the day?!] ... when you notice tiny new red leaves on a tree ... when daisies suddenly spring up in your back yard ... yaay it's spring!

Hermes ... once more!

Heyo, awesome readers! Remember that post about the printable Hermes Kelly bag? Well, there's more goodies on the Hermes site ... and this time, they're in the form of DIY Collier de Chien bracelets! In amazing designs! Oh, what fun! According to this site, Hilary Duff, Heidi Montag, and Katie Holmes are seen wearing it ... that's the real one, not the DIY! Scoot over there [don't forget to come back, though :D] to have a peek at the real Collier de Chien.

Thank you, Hermes, for giving us free stuff!

I can't wait to go off and make some!! Here's the link.

[After the website comes up, click on "I want it, I'll have it" on the right side of the glowing Hermes circle thingamabob, select your design, download, print, cut, assemble, and you're done!]

And while I promised that I'd put up something really cool about sandwiches, well, I don't have the time at the moment to go through the pictures and post them ... so why don't you take a look? It's right here. [I don't think I'd have the patience to make them! And once I make them, I don't think I'd want to eat them!]

Also, special thanks to Helen and Sam for following my blog! Thank you!!

Abby!

So, I heard that it was Abby's birthday last week ... here's a little birthday note from me! I've wanted to do this ever since I found out that it was her birthday, and here it is, finally!

Hm, I think this is going to be a new feature - if you want, you could tell me your birthday and I could write up a little Happy Birthday note for you on the day!

Anyways, I hope you had a wonderful day, Abby! And keep Rocking the Web [geddit?]!

Oh, and thank you so much, Marisa, for following my little blog! :D

Ploughing through ...

Hola, amiga! How's it? As my title suggests, I am indeed still ploughing through assignments ... and so still can't blog as much as I'd like to ...

Having said that, I'll take leave for today with some randomoes:

Link -
This is Kandee Johnson's blog, and I'm going to follow it soon-ish. She's so cheerful. She has the most amazing style/make-up tips. Ever. She's also a freelance makeup artist working in the US of A. If you're wondering, this is her youtube channel.

Thought -
I met the nicest stranger today ...

Poem -
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

Song -
"The Call" by Regina Spektor from Prince Caspian [love that movie!]. I only got it about a week ago, and I've listened to it 81 times according to my iTunes.

Hmmm -
I'm thinking of joining Twitter. Hmmm.

Movie -
Bridge to Terabithia. Seriously. AnnaSophia Robb is the awesomest. [Cannot believe that the whole movie was shot in Auckland, and I still missed it :( ... oh well. Ooh, and the museum that Miss Edmunds takes Jess to? That's the Auckland War Memorial museum! It's beautiful, it's the most photographed building in Auckland (I thought it'd've been the Sky Tower!), and I've been there a couple of times ...]

Bleh -
Thou shalt not label this post as bleh. Come onnnn this is the best I can do when I have three portraits to finish, three rationales to write, and one illustration book to do. :D

Edit: Whoopsies, forgot the disclaimer! Yup, the poem is copyright J. R. R. Tolkien, not me.

And, of course, Today's Word of the Day:
Bleh (not in the dictionary): This is a word Gandhali made up, and it pretty much means "Blah", but she's sure that you figured that much. :D [Edit 2: So, I just found out that 'bleh' is in the urban dictionary. Oh well, I had made it up for my use, so ... meh.]
